Quarter leather with cloth boards, stamped in gold. Considerable chipping and loss to top and bottom of spine. Rubbing to edges and fraying to corners. Title page has tears to top edge. Library stamp, but no other markings. Some signatures a little loose, light foxing to endpapers and first and last few pages. Interior clean, still a good copy of scarce first edition.
