Four volumes in seven. Large Folio. 20 x 15”. Heavy brown cloth with title stamped in black. Rebound, with each plate on separate sheet. All volumes lacking prelims and title-pages. Volume 1 Starts with Table of Contents for all- Volumes, I-IV. Volume 1: 54 plates total; numbered 1-51: extra numbers 5a,19a, 31a. Volume 2: 56 plates total, numbered 52-109. Extra number 64a; omitted numbers, 65, 78 and 92 (as called for in table of contents). Volume 3: 57 plates total, numbered 110-165. Extra number 12a, 140 a,b,&c; omitted plates 127,128,129 (as called for). Volume 4: 58 plates total, numbered 166-224. Extra plate 216a, substituting for omitted plate 218, plate 179 also omitted (both as called for). Volume 5: 60 plates total, numbered 225-286. Plate 242a substitutes for 250, 258 and 259 both numbered 259. Extra plate # 275x; omitted plates 233, 272 & 273 (as called for). Lacking plate 261. (Building for Tiffany & Co. exterior). Heavy duty buckram bindings are rubbed at edges, folds and corners. Each page has been attached with heavy binding tape, making this a durable and useable set. The plates for the most part are in excellent condition, with an occasional mild crease or spot of marginal soiling. Plate 345 is toned, but very little toning otherwise. Complete (but for one plate) as called for in table of contents. Local delivery only- far too big and heavy to ship.
