Two original drawings in black marker on single canvas piece. 13 x 14". Each image SIGNED, by the artist. These drawings were done by Plympton and Johnson at Spike and Mike's Festival of Animation. Spike would put out a roll of canvas at the festival and animators and cartoonists would come by and paint or draw on the canvas. Often featuring their most famous characters; this piece featuring Plympton's "Guard Dog" and a murderous chicken by Johnson.
Bill Plympton (b.1946). American animator, graphic designer, cartoonist, and filmmaker best known for his 1987 Academy Award–nominated animated short Your Face and his series of dark animated shorts featuring Guard Dog.
Jason Johnson is an illustrator, comic book artist, concept artist most known for Bravest Warriors, TV Funhouse and Beyond Grandpa.
