"Frederick Michael Liebmann (10 October 1813 – 29 October 1856) was a Danish botanist . He studied botany at the University of Copenhagen, although he never obtained a formal degree.
In 1840 he traveled through Cuba and Mexico. Upon his return in 1845 he took the exam and won the chair of Professor of Botany at the University of Copenhagen. And he became Director of the Botanical Garden in 1852, a position he held until his death four years later." wikipedia.
