Octavo. 88pp. Staple-bound pamphlet with printed wrappers. This convention was held during the time that Mary A. Kenney was president of the Southern California chapter and shortly after the death of WCTU founder Frances Willard. In addition to minutes, committee reports and financial statements, this report details the proceedings of the convention and describes the work of the union. Summaries include: Work Among Colored People; Work Among Foreigners; Scientific Temperance Instruction, Non-alcoholics In Medicine and more. Includes a directory of the local unions (including their superintendents) from Los Angeles, San Diego and Santa Barbara Counties. One inch split at bottom of spine fold and some chips to opening edge of front cover. Interior nice and clean.
