First edition. Thick quarto. 482pp. Illustrated with 53 full-page color plates, with tissue guards and many illustrations within the text. 1100 pieces described, plus list of artists. Text is in German. New spine panel done in black leather matching original. One corner of leather is rubbed with loss. Slipcase also has new spine panel, which is lifting a little. Rubbing or evidence of insect damage to edge of slipcase. Interior Mostly nice, but has some light foxing and one plate has mild stain (see photos), binding solid. Very heavy book, domestic shipping only.
