Exhibition held for Fernando Sacconi "...a restorer, a maker, a teacher and forever serious student." A little rubbing to edges and some white lines-(paper remnants- would probably come of with some patient rubbing) on leather spine. issued without dust-jacket. This copy with the name and address stamp of the renowned violin maker, Mario Frosali. Two of his instruments were included in the exhibition. Some pencil notes, presumably by Frosati.
Mario Forsali was a respected violin maker who worked in Los Angeles. He came to the United States from Milan as a concert violinist in 1909. His instruments are highly sought after.
