Octavo. The Strad Library no. XVI. 220pp. plus ads. 41 full-page reproductions of photographs with numerous Illustrations by the author. Red cloth rubbed on spine ends and corners. It has a few bumps and wrinkles and the spine a bit cocked. Endpapers, first and last couple pages and tissue guards are browned. This copy with the name and address stamp of the renowned violin maker, Mario Frosali.

Mario Forsali was a respected violin maker who worked in Los Angeles. He came to the United States from Milan as a concert violinist in 1909. His instruments are highly sought after.
