Typed invitation to Mrs. Eugene Twining, Zionsville Pennsylvania. " I should be happy if you would come to Welcome House tea at my home...Yours cordially, Pearl S. Buck." 10" x 7.5" laid paper. With enclosed, typed card with "Directions" to Buck's home in Perkasie. Personal stationary with address, "R.D. 3 Perkasie, Pennsylvania" printed at top, in envelope with printed return address, using Buck's married name, Mrs. Richard Walsh. Letter is near fine with a couple very faint spots; envelope is lightly soiled, with some edge wear. Postmarked Oct. 1952.
