As a teenager, Ludmilla met the artist Thaddeus Welch, despite a twenty-three year age difference, the couple was married in 1883. The couple eventually settled in Marin County and then Santa Barbara, where they developed a loyal patronage. The two often painted side by side. Very good. Item #12929
