This facsimile of the original Philippe Gonin edition of 1950 is limited, this being # 840. Beautiful production printed on hemp laid paper. Virgile's verses, celebrating rural life are illustrated with Maillol's woodcuts throughout the first two volumes, with a suite of prints in the third. The three volumes are housed in wrap around boards with slipcase. Unfortunately the slipcase is in pieces, but will be included. The printed sheets are in fine condition, the folders have only light wear, and the wrap around cover has light wear.
